Piiiiii!

Kaikai learned a new word recently, she has been using it a LOT!  She learned the word "Please".  The way she says it sounds like "piii".  So whenever she wants something to when we are carrying her and she wants to walk she says "piiii piiiii piiiiiii piiiiiiiii", usually increasing in volume and intensity.  This morning we were finishing up some pizza from last night and when she asked for pizza she said "pipipiiiii"(pizza please).

Kalea has been moving more and more, she rolls all over the place. She tries to crawl, but she can't quite lift herself so she kinda pushes with her feet while balancing on her head forming an upside-down V shape (Kaikai also does the same thing).  Kalea is also blowing bubbles, making quite a wet mess of her clothes, but she loves it.

WARNING: Wet content, please view at your own digression (maybe with an umbrella and rain suit)

UP

This deserves a small post on the blog.  Today Tonia and I went to my school to look at how much textbooks are going to be for this semester.  On our way in we (I mean Kai) noticed "some" balloons.  They had them all over the place throughout the school for the start of a new semester.  On our way out of the school I thought it would be cool to take some pics with Kaikai and the balloons.  It made Tonia and I think about the Disney movie, UP.  What about you?

A normal weekend

Well, we survived Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th.  Friday was just a normal day, where both Tonia and I had work and my parents babysat the babies. Saturday morning was Parade for Lindon Days, so Tonia took the girls to go watch the parade while I was at work.  Tonia said the girls, especially Kaikai, had a lot of fun.

Kalea was very intrigued with Grandpa's Icee
Kaikai had fun looking at balloons with Uncle Landon (aka Dodo)

The girls really did have fun at the Lindon Days Parade

Today was a good day

Nothing to special happened today, just a good Thursday before tomorrow, FRIDAY THE 13TH.
We were able to spend a lot of time together and with the babies this morning before I had work, so we played outside and took naps.  After work we went on a walk and enjoyed the time together.
This evening we were able to take a couple pictures of the girls.  Kaikai does a funny face that we have called "Monkey Face", so she wore her monkey shirt and showed us "Monkey Face".

We also dressed up little Kalea.  Since she looks like she could be from the islands we dressed her with a little lei.

She looks pretty Alohappy!

We had a good day today, and we hope you did too!  Love you all!

Aloha,

Tonia and Devan

Recent Happenings

Recently we have had a few little achievements in the family.  Tonia was able to get a part time job using Japanese at a company called Zija, she says that she really enjoys it and already knew a few of the people that work there. She is still doing her online teaching and taking online classes with Kansas State University.

Kai keeps growing everyday, she it probably the most popular baby in the neighborhood, whenever Tonia and I take the babies on a walk kids and friends from church always ignore us and say "Hey Kaikai!".   She loves the attention too.

Kalea just learned to roll over. So now every time we hear any movement coming from Kalea at night we have to get up and check on her, just to make sure she isn't face down.  It's a lot of fun though.

I am just doing the same old song and dance, just going to school (at Utah Valley University and Stevens Henager College) and working part time at a small shipping/packaging company called Post Mart.

Welcome to our little family's blog!

Friends and Family,

You are all around the world and we want to let you know what's going on with us wherever you are.  Tonia and I decided that a blog would be an easy way to give everyone an opportunity to see what we are doing.  Our little girls are growing up so fast and we also wanted you to see them grow up with us.

Aloha,

Tonia and Devan
